Non-Academic Declaration
The Doctor of Letters (Honoris Causa) conferred by Moscow Research University is strictly a civilian, non-academic title of high societal prestige. It is explicitly NOT a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) or a formal academic degree. This honorary conferment holds zero academic credits and does not fall under the purview, jurisdiction, or regulatory frameworks of the University Grants Commission (UGC) of India, the Ministry of Education, or any global academic accreditation board.
Commercial & Jurisdictional Exclusions
Any financial contributions facilitated by nominees or sponsors are exclusively designated for the administrative, international logistics, and processing expenses incurred by the Official Evaluating Body. This is not a transaction for the purchase of commercial goods or academic services, and thus falls completely outside the jurisdiction of the Consumer Protection Act. Contributions are strictly non-refundable.
Usage Mandate
Recipients of the honor are legally bound to use the suffix "(Hon. Causa)" or "(h.c.)" whenever the title "Dr." is utilized in professional, corporate, or public capacities to prevent misrepresentation.
